Next, unfold and trace around the edges of the scrap paper onto wallpaper. The green and black striped notebook in some of the after photos is 4.5 inches by 5.5 inches when finished – so the initial bundle of scrap paper was 9 inches long and 5.5 inches tall. When folded in half, it creates a 20 page square notebook that is 3.5 x 3.5. I cut paper 10 pieces of scrap paper down to 7 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. The one in the tutorial photos is small and square. Sizing note: I really like creating a mixture of standard size and nonstandard size notebooks. For the scrap paper, you can use anything…colorful paper, lined paper, graph paper, etc. Start by cutting out scrap paper and folding it in half to create the notebook shape you want- using a bone folder to create a crisp fold, like the photo. The process for these DIY notebooks is similar to the DIY library card notebooks from WAY back (don’t judge those photos too harshly…it was six years ago).īut there are some difference and specifics for using wallpaper, so I created a new tutorial… 1. But while I try to whittle it down to the one I love most and figure out the budget, I had these leftover samples that were dying to be DIYed. long reach stapler (I like this $10 one from Amazon)Īll of the wallpaper is from Kelly Wearstler and I actually bought a bunch of samples for a project I want to do in the studio.decorative wallpaper samples (cool wrapping paper works too).Want to make a set of your own? Whatever the travel times usually are, double them because traffic will be horrible.Instead, take Federal Highway if you’re trying to reach Wynwood or the Design District. When going to Midtown from the beach DO NOT exit I-395 at North Miami Avenue.Try to avoid rush hours which will just make the already horrible traffic into a murderous experience. Always look at traffic before planning your route. We’ll see if Riot’s bet will have paid off sometime in 2021 when Hytale comes out. There's no guarantee Hytale will become even a fraction as popular as Minecraft. However , judging by the fact Hytale's announcement trailer has 55 million views on YouTube, there's obviously a lot of excitement for the title. It's a smart bet when you consider Microsoft paid $2.5 billion in 2014 to acquire Mojang, Minecraft's developer. In 2019, Microsoft said it had 112 monthly active players, making it almost as popular as League of Legends. The now almost 10-year-old title is one of the most popular games in the world at the moment. It's also not surprising to see Riot try to recreate the success of Minecraft. The acquisition is the latest move in what has already been a big year for a studio that for the longest time only had one game to its name. Riot adds it will share its experience in "developing and publishing acclaimed, player-focused games" with Hypixel. The company says Hypixel will retain its current structure, with plans to open a new office in Northern Ireland that will host additional back-office and quality assurance staff. However, it doesn't sound like Riot plans to change too much about how the studio functions. Hytale Hosting is pioneering the way forwards for game server owners looking to stake their claim in the Hytale community. We have carefully chosen our prices to make it accessible for everyone, while still being sustainable for us. Riot didn't disclose the financial terms of the acquisition. Reasons for delays 2019 Delay In 2018, Hypixel Studios initially announced the highly anticipated game Hytale with a scheduled release date of sometime in 2019. That means Hytale will come out 2024 or later. If you're not familiar with the game, think Minecraft but with more of a focus on adventuring and combat. The Hypixel Studios team has said in the Summer 2022 Development Update that Hytale wont be ready 2023. On Thursday, the company said it had acquired Hypixel Studios, the creator of an upcoming role-playing game called Hytale. Instead of finishing the trilogy of short games, they took the story ideas for the remaining two and rather than making two more 5 hour games they made Pirate's Curse. It picks up RIGHT where Risky's Revenge leaves off and is a 15+ hour game that has a ton of great design and fun elements to it. Location where legacy mailers expect to see user mailboxes. The GTX 1080 used the early release drivers, while the other GPUs ran on the latest WHQL-certified drivers available from the GPU manufacturer’s web site. I used four different GPUs: GTX 1080, Titan X, GTX 980, and an AMD Radeon Fury Nano. These tests ran on my existing production system, a Core i7-6700K with 32GB DDR4 running at the stock 2,133MHz effective. The results, however, look interesting and the issue of compute on new GPUs bears further investigating. Bear in mind that this is more quick-and-dirty benchmarking, not rigorously repeated to validate results. Next, we will look at SPECviewperf 2020 performance tests.Out of idle curiosity, I ran a couple of OpenCL compute-oriented benchmarks on the GTX 1080 and three other GPUs. Still, we wanted to include the results that we could. We do have a few more to include, but these are not ready yet. This is the start of our new 2023 GPU Benchmarks and how we will continue. We wanted to see the progression of the older benchmarks but also update to a more modern test suite. As a result, many of the benchmarks we used before have been updated to newer versions, no longer exist, or require a new license. It has been several years since we have done a desktop graphics card review. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 FE Compute Benchmarks |
